What’s Your Favorite U.S. National Park?

I have a problem: What’s your beloved U.S. National Park?

More than the previous two a long time, I have fallen in adore with them.

Prior to the pandemic, I experienced only frequented a handful of them, largely by accident. But as soon as the pandemic strike, and it was risk-free sufficient to road-excursion, I drove all about the country viewing them.

Now I’ve found 15 out of 63. And someday, I’d like to see them all.

Very first, there was Redwood Countrywide Park, with its towering trees and black-sand beaches…

Then Indiana Dunes, with its sprawling sights of nuclear reactors…

Then Utah, household to some of the most effective national parks in the place: I frequented Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.

Immediately after Utah, I frequented Mammoth Cave (Kentucky) and Hot Springs (Arkansas), on the way to Austin, which is where I are living now.

Then there was Huge Bend, Texas. The night sky is incredible there! You can see so quite a few stars.

And most a short while ago, Glacier (Montana) and Grand Teton (Wyoming). Glacier Nationwide Park reminded me of Switzerland with its alpine valleys, purple wildflowers, and jagged mountains. I even saw mountain goats.

I really feel so fortunate that I have gotten to see so substantially of our gorgeous state in the earlier several a long time.

When I was youthful, I concentrated exclusively on global vacation (this web site isn’t referred to as Ashley Abroad for nothin’). But above the past two decades, I’m pleased to report that I’ve gained a newfound appreciation for my very own backyard.
