Statement from Adare Manor on the passing of former CEO, Colm Hannon
It is with profound sadness that we uncovered of the passing of our previous CEO, Colm Hannon, on Wednesday 30th November.
Colm, a native of Ballyglass, Co. Mayo, expended 26 many years working with the McManus loved ones, and held the put up of CEO at Adare Manor from 2015 until eventually his retirement in April 2022. He oversaw several major developments and improvements at Adare Manor, such as the thorough renovation and restoration of the resort in 2016 and the hotel’s effective bid to host the Ryder Cup in 2027.
His excellent leadership and distinguished service had been instrumental to the productive redevelopment of Adare Manor, and our place as a entire world-main resort. The overall Adare Manor team are amazingly very pleased of his outstanding contribution to the resort and our wider local community, and we are eternally grateful for his legacy of excellence.
We would like to increase our deepest sympathies to Colm’s wife Sue, and their small children Conor, Shane and Ciara, his parents John and Mary, siblings John and Caroline, mother and father-in-regulation Les and Vera, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-legislation, nieces, and nephews. Our views are with them and with Colm’s broader group of household and good friends.
