Travel and tourism businesses around the world unite to help Ukraine

Journey and tourism businesses about the environment have arrive collectively to assist Ukraine with thousands and thousands of resort rooms for refugees escaping the conflict.

Planet Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) customers have opened their doorways to refugees in neighbouring nations around the world donating rooms, transportation, clothes, food, shelter, urgent provides and fiscal contributions.

They include things like hotel companies Accor, Hilton, Intercontinental, Marriott and Radisson.

“Across the board the reaction has been unbelievable, and I salute the courage of teams on the floor.

“Hotels have opened their doorways getting refugees all close to Europe.

And in Ukraine, teams on the ground are maintaining accommodations open for support agencies, journalists, and these stranded and determined. Cruise traces and airways have transported materials.

“Our hearts go out to all these who are struggling from this brutal invasion.”

Numerous corporations have matched their employees’ contributions to aid charities providing support through crisis help and critical materials.

Non permanent lodging has been organized many thanks to Journey & Tourism workforce opening their homes to give emergency shelter and Airbnb also devised imaginative remedies to get revenue into the hands of regional people today.
