EasyJet cuts 40 flights per day in June to avoid further travel mayhem caused by last minute cancellations

EasyJet has pre-emptively slashed the range of flights it is running in June to minimize the mayhem airports have witnessed in current weeks brought about by final moment flight cancellations.

The Guardian described the information, citing an inner concept sent by the airline’s main running officer, Peter Bellew, to staff on Friday.

40 flights for each day in and out of the Uk would be influenced by the cancellations, The Guardian claimed, citing a spokesperson for the airline. If 40 flights are slash for the rest of June, about 680 flights in overall will be cancelled.

EasyJet operates about 1,700 for each day in and out of the United kingdom.

The finances airline has been forced to terminate a swathe of flights in the latest weeks many thanks to a mixture of team shortages and amplified desire for vacation as COVID restrictions relieve.
